General
I am a Caucasian male originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada working as a System Administrator for an Information Technology firm specializing in Identity Management. I have a vast knowledge of today's prominent operating systems such as Sun Solaris, FreeBSD, Microsoft Windows, and GNU/Linux. I also have experience with web application programming in PHP (from versions 3 onwards), and SQL database design.
Professional
I am available for technical contract work both remotely and on-site in Vancouver. I have a vast and useful skill set, my resume and (separately) references are available on request. I am a certified Sun Solaris System Administrator, and CompTIA Linux+ certified. I have also received training in relation to Sun Directory Server, and Solaris DTrace.
Hobbies
- Music is a passion of mine, I enjoy collecting albums of both old and new recordings and pride myself in my large, and diverse collection. I also enjoy attending concerts and critiquing peoples music.
- Volunteering my Computer Skills, as computers are a large part of my life, I take pleasure in reverse engineering programs to see how they work, as well as helping out on a local gaming network called Xenophase in my spare time.
- TV Show viewing, recently I have taken up somewhat of an interest in watching English and Chinese TV Shows, of the drama genre. As of this time, my favourite shows would be Dexter, and Smallville.
- Photography, Taking pictures of people, and places. I am a proud owner of a Nikon D80, Canon PowerShot G9, and Canon PowerShot SD1000 which I usually take with me everywhere I go.
